To be clear, this is not an attack on elves and certainly not their players. After all, my canon Warden is an elf! I like elves! 😊
Rather, just a reflection on how alienating the fandom felt to non-elf players. That alienation was largely accidental, but it still happened. (1/6)

I admit guilt on the Inquistor and Rook front, but I am happily (mostly) acquitted on the latter! 😂
All my love to every OC, but after a decade of elf OC’s dominating all DA fandom spaces and pushing the rest to the margins… it’s going to be Qunari, dwarves, and humans on out with few exceptions.

It was important to produce something about the game itself (not the drama), as its own experience and narrative. And thus the use of my own Rooks to personalize.
