Change that never returns to normal is always jarring. Ya know in your heart of hearts that it's the pot that is cracked, and while repaired will never be the thing it once was.

If you are environmentalist and don't arrive at anti-capitalism you have much work to do.
Once you see the system for what it is you see the all the coalitions available for overthrowing it. It is liberating to see class instead of consumptive behaviors as ways to connect with your fellow humans.
