Something I need these AI adoption people at work to understand is that even if I use a gAI tool to summarize a document or email or presentation for me, I’m still responsible for understanding *all* of it, not just the parts the tool thinks are important.

I can hear my neighbours vacuuming their floors. I'm not annoyed by the noise, I'm annoyed by the fact it's reminding me I could use to do some housecleaning.

I used to have a “Stewart Colbert 08” shirt like 20 years ago. Ha ha. Funny. Then we had “Man Of The Year” with the late Robin Williams which I think really said something about what was likely to happen if we took that joke too far. Let It Stay A Joke, please.

AI plugins for web CMSes talk about how they create and manage content for you “so you can focus on what matters.” If creating and managing engaging/informative content *isn’t* what matters, then what does? Really all that’s left is “monetizing the slop it generates” but it does that too…

I assume this was my Dad's and it was only there because he never took it down (my bedroom used to be a spare workroom before my sister was born.) This thing creeped me the f*ck out as I'm sure you can imagine and it took forever for me to work up the courage to ask for it to be moved.

Trying to get my landlord to understand that if she wants me paying the bill for water heater rental on her behalf, she needs to make sure I actually get the bill (and all the ones I haven't gotten since I've been here.) May be the death of me.
