The annoying thing in living in a world where most grew up with ways of prevention and treatment against diseases that would've fucked you up in the past is that people don't seem to grasp that illness can cause deafness, blindness, brain damage, heart issues and make you immunocompromised anymore

Feels very much "Make the characters look at the camera and explain why [bad thing] is Bad". Again, not every work has to be a damn PSA. Instead of showing violence in media, should we all just write movies about characters also acting a violent movie and saying "violence hurts, guys"? It's stupid.
