Anti-Science like teaching Creationism instead of Evolution.
Sadly bonkers now seems to be the way to go, Reform are trying to grab the coattails of MAGA. Just because 75 million Americans voted for Trump (& despite 73m for Kamala) 8.2 billion of us have to do what MAGA tells us “cos they got a mandate” good thing Climate change is a hoax (sarcasm).

Do they intend to ban commercial & domestic battery systems? Are they all going to give up their mobile phones or has nobody told them about lithium in phone/ tablet batteries ? Will they try to extend the ban to my new EV?

Norway is furthest down the transition to EVs.

EV electricity consumption is less than 3% total power generation.

Where are the MPs, columnists, and business leaders explaining climate change threats are real, gas is the primary cause of high energy bills, net zero brings multiple benefits, and the UK is not an outlier on climate policy? Ed Miliband can’t do it all on his own.

This is the right wing playbook now, to publicly undermine & tell outright lies about anyone who deals in facts or public good. They believe a big enough sustained public pile on can bring governments down. Their Goebbels in chief Musk is leading the program.

Those of us who are pro net zero, need to speak up more on all forms of social media. Even if Ed is getting some things wrong (CCS) he is moving in right direction & is so much better than the alternatives. Think if Coutinho or Badenoch was driving policy 🤯

Maybe low-density land use makes it problematic in North America, but much of Europe including UK has much denser land use.

Have to wait until Feb, but I follow your posts all the time for the EV info & the deals, & just the fun of the debate on different models. Much better over here than on the other site because less FUD posters just being obstructive.

Sadly am retired so Salary Sacrifice not an option. Will look out for a bargain in the delivery mileage/ demonstrator bracket. Hoping the government might do some sort of incentive for those us not qualifying for SS get the grey £ spent on EVs to speed up the transition.

I agree EV over ICE & credit to Tesla they have been instrumental in shifting the dial on EVs. However Musks recent behaviours are very scary. Too much money, too much influence & too much interferences in democracy.

Ian I am due to get new car in Feb/March. I want an MG4 but OH wants me to wait & get a Renault 4 when they come out. I am resisting but he keeps trying to feed me stuff to change my mind. His latest is that the MG4 has a big problem with corrosion underneath. Have you had any issues?
