Lots of YouTube videos on this method. Basically you clean off all the growing medium. Stick them in a vase that the neck of the vase is smaller than the leaves so they can sit on top. Only put enough water in to allow about 20% of the roots to be in water, the rest in air. Fertilize once a mont

I have been in to orchids for about a year now. I have failed at growing them in standard orchid pots and then with the kokodama method.

But I am finally being successful growing them in water. My collection is growing and I have mostly gotten mine off the clearance table at our local Kroger store

I got a 2 this week with my first line only having one orange letter. I knew I had to move the orange letter and choose 4 new letters out of the remaining options.

Elizabeth Zimmerman, the goddess of knitters, wasn't big on swatching. She typically knit with the same few yarns and knew what her gauge would be with those few yarns on needles that worked with those yarns. She would knit a sleeve, which knits up fast and measure that against the schematics.

Our heat dome broke this morning with rain!!! When I checked my weather app yesterday, there was no rain predicted for today. But I woke at 4:45 to the sound of thunder and we have gotten a good inch since I got up!!

Yeah to no watering today and full rain barrels!!
