My least popular (and most correct) view is that cars should be automatically limited to the local speed limit. Put the pedal to the floor and you still can't go over 25mph in a residential area.

What I don’t see commented enough in the case of Dr. Alawieh is that not everything is direct order from the president.
The minions working on the case surely knew who she was and that it might cause controversy, they also know no one is going to get in trouble for kidnapping a woman wearing hijab
