This is an absolutely must-read piece. Do it now. 👇
By betraying his voters so comprehensively and so soon, Keir Starmer has done us a favour. He has given us 4 years to design the government we want.
In this week's column I explain how it can be done. There's massive
potential, but we need to start now. 🧵

Our grandson is autistic and as wonderful a grandson as you could wish for. He is smart, kind, considerate, helpful, holds down a job, and lives in his own flat. I realise there are different levels of autism, but people just need to be kind and patient with them or any other type of person.

Proud of you, Chris – not an easy feat. Stories like yours are exactly why it meant a lot to pass the ACA.
Because of the ACA, thanks Obama, I was able to afford rehab for my alcoholism. I’m going on year 9. I wouldn’t have been able to afford it otherwise. I am truly thankful. I’m just 1 of the millions the ACA has helped.

Thanks for sharing your story, Rebecca. Protecting folks with pre-existing conditions – like your son – was important to us. And it’s why we have to continue working hard to protect and build on the foundation of the ACA, too.
Before ACA my son was denied coverage because of “preexisting conditions”. When ACA was established his medical conditions were all covered. I’m thankful every day insurance companies are no longer allowed to deny coverage. Thank you President Obama. (He was a baby when this all happened)

Grateful for your years of service, Finn – and that the ACA helped you and your daughter get health care.
I was injured in the line of duty working as a sheriffs deputy and needed a spinal surgery. Had to accept a medical retirement at 40 yrs old. Lost my County health insurance for myself and my daughter. But no one would sell me insurance because of the injury. I had no insurance until the ACA.
