Before the Xmas break, a Furneux Pelham constituent got in touch to tell me that he had invited his elderly neighbours round for a Christmas meal.
Rather than risk walking the 100m to his house, they elected to drive in order to avoid injury on the dilapidated Whitebarns Lane!
