Problems that come when religious organizations entrench themselves in politics and governmental bodies. It’s bad for everyone involved.

The Vichy Dems abetted genocide, built cop cities, countenanced sedition, viciously attacked fellow Democratic representatives, including my former rep Cori Bush, and belittled their own voter base. The Dems know how to use power. They use it to help Republicans and hurt vulnerable people.

It doesn’t erase what’s wrong with the other 2 films. I still dislike all 3 films even though 1 is slightly better than the rest. I feel similarly with the Sequel trilogy. I liked the first 2 a lot and I thought the RoS was fine. Does that ruin my enjoyment of the first 2 films? Absolutely not! /2

my hot take? a movie is by definition meant to be a standalone experience. even a movie that is part of a franchise or narrative trilogy must work as its own, self-contained story for it to even begin to qualify as good.
