The murders of Charlie Kirk and Minnesota state representative Melissa Hortman are part of a dangerous rise in political violence.

We cannot accept this as the norm.

We must do whatever we can to reduce the anger and hate that are consuming and destroying so much of the country.

So sad
Barclays Bank's CEO tells govt to cut wages of public sector workers instead of taxing banks.

Wants to cut wages of doctors, nurses, teachers, cleaners, drivers, cooks, security guards to give more to bankers.

Wage rises inflationary apparently but CEO pay, dividends aren't.

My God my God. All true and horribly fear inspiring.
Everyone should be held to the same standards.

Charlie Kirk called me a ‘lunatic’ and a ‘prostitute’ and demanded I be deported.

Nothing, *nothing*, justifies killing him, or robbing his kids of their dad.

We don’t know the identity or motive of the shooter but murder can *never* be the response to political disagreements.

I agree. The taking of a life whether we age with him or not, is unconscionable in any way or form. Anyone who celebrates death is a monster in my book. Charlie Kirk was a master of the use of free speech.

I know little about Charlie Kirk. Never paid attention to his dark, inane posts.
But I am appalled at his death.
Politics has been pushed to the point where extremist language leads to violence.
In a democracy there is no justification for the murder of a man over ideas.
This is a wake up call.
