Ah, yes. How could I forget when my own little rugrat ATE a tube last week? To be fair, it was her designated tube and not one out of my stash lol

The only way I've been able to solve this problem is to buy a crapload of them, then stash them all over my house and in every bag I use when I go out. I don't move them from their homes. It feels wasteful but it works and I'll eventually use up all of them, right? 😅

Just realized I haven't updated this in forever. I finished the jacket a while back, and have nearly finished the accompanying dress. The dress needs something...beads, maybe? Gotta cover up a mistake at the collar too, and beads would work in that regard. #bjdsewing #bjd

I haven't watched it yet, but I had a feeling it would be like this. Just way too much material to cram into a movie length project IMO. Heck, even the anime skipped over some of my favorite more lighthearted scenes in the manga. Adaptation must be hard stuff!

Lmao I'm so tired I posted an uncropped photo with my feet in it, but eff it, I am too worn out to care! We will wear these to LVL UP Expo tomorrow. My daughter is obsessed with the song, but is unaware of the memes, so if you see us, please be aware she probably won't do the call and response.

So now I'm WELL over 40 hours. They found YET ANOTHER infusion for me to do on Friday! FUCK I'm so tired, but at least it's only a 10 minute drive from my house and I can spend most of the time hand sewing. Sometimes being salary really sucks.

I got an add on for Tuesday, which brought me up to over 40 hours. Figured I'd really be done then. But then yesterday I get a request to drive nearly 3 hours one-way to do a single 15 minute infusion in Arizona on Friday. I was only an hour away last night so I got the appointment switched.

BTW, almost all the fabrics I'm using are leftovers from the flower girl dress I made my daughter last year. The lining is bemberg rayon, and the outer fabrics are silk. The netting came off an old Betsey Johnson shirt.

I was sad this morning, so kept myself busy redoing the sleeves and sewing the side seams together today. It's so nice when the project starts to come together! Now comes the outer piping and assembly. I think this will be very cute when done! Now, which girl will wear it? #bjdsewing #bjd

I put the sleeves on wrong. I'm so irritated. I could just continue on, but the interior won't be as finished and it will gnaw at me. Anyway, have some pre-mistake progress shots!
