I wanted to work in women's health as an RN, but I fell head first into infusion nursing and ended up liking it. I'm realizing now I will probably never go into women's health now since it would mean a pay cut I can't afford. I saw a great job posting today, but guess it's not meant to be.

I was told this was going to be a hell week for work, but I wasn't prepared for the fuckery I would be put through. I got my schedule last week, and it looks jam packed but surprisingly my Friday is open. Great! I know I might get something added on but I also might get a day off.

The people at the rent-a-car place have seen me enough that they're amusing themselves by giving me upgrades. I'm now driving a Camaro to my appointments out of state tomorrow. They don't know that I refused a '65 Mustang in favor of a minivan for my first vehicle as a teen 😅

I want to disappear. Thought I had a mild cold. But I tried to go to sleep and failed (very uncommon for me). I have a horrible sore throat and fever and spots on the back of my throat - it's probably strep 😫. Worst of all, I am traveling for work tomorrow. Or was.

I finished my fairy queen. I went from not knowing what to do with her, to being the most inspired I've been by a doll. I just wish I had a better camera!

Macha lost a few eyelash hairs but otherwise came out unscathed from the ordeal with alcohol pads and tweezers. I really like her with darker eyes! #superdollfie #bjd #sd_macha

My daughter turned 4 yesterday. We took her to a dinosaur exhibit and she was SO excited! She didn't want to leave, and in fact sobbed her poor little heart out when we had to leave. Here she is with some foam dinos she made (ok, Mom and Dad helped 🤣)

I got word today that one of my regular patients has passed. It's not unexpected, and she had a comfortable death, but I'm still sad. She made costumes for fun just like me...this makes me think about my mortality and I do. not. like. it.

My kidding should be starting an early intervention preschool next week. She was found to be average in almost everything and in the highest percentile for cognitive ability...but has developmental delays in social and behavioral areas. I am not surprised at this determination.

Much thanks to my last patient who rented Wicked during his infusion today, saving me from having to rent it myself. Perks of the job? My verdict: loved the costumes and sets, but the music is not to my taste.

In trying to organize my doll clothes, I had to figure out which pieces of these similar sets were for two different sizes. So, since I had to dress them up, have Mikhail (a very rare Buddydoll Raphael) and Arata (Volks F101). They kinda have a Der Tod/Rudolf vibe going, and I like it!
