To be honest it's mainly about records. MDANT🏅 unlikely though that seems

My latest monthly playlist is now available. Old records, new records, and new to me records, that span decades, genres and continents. All of them have made the last few weeks a lot easier to deal with. I hope somewhere on the playlist is something that'll make you go wow! and play it again.

The Kings own Royal Lancashire Regt outside Ulverston drill hall before setting off for France. Somewhere in the photo is my Grandad, Sgt Jim Burns.

Keep thinking of when Disney tried to sue the BBC when Alexei Sayle’s Stuff parodied Snow White and the BBC legal person was heard to say, ‘Fuck Disney, we’re the BBC.’

I want this BBC - my BBC back. It's been stolen from us by politics and politicians.

Not sure how many other places in Britain have individual street war memorials. They're scattered throughout the older parts of St Albans commemorating those who didn't return to their homes on those streets. Their location makes them far more personal and poignant. This one is on Fishpool Street.

Back in the 70s the majority of footballers in my Panini albums seemed to be delighted to be playing football for a living. I mean look how happy Barry is about playing for Ajax.

'Home James' is a lovely little documentary following James Mason as he returns to his hometown of Huddersfield. Mason is a wonderful presenter, warm, witty and engaging, the fact that the longer he's in Huddersfield the more his accent dips into Yorkshire is an additional delight.

There's a better argument to be made that Farage is a waste of skin and oxygen
