Re this evening’s headlines….Over 30 years ago, I went to North Dakota. I was staying with some lovely Americans who ‘warned me about their uncle’s views.’ I met him and decided almost there and then how European I felt in terms of shared values. 🇬🇧 🇪🇺

What a victory! Today MPs narrowly backed our bill to cut the Brexit red tape and end this economic nightmare.

The PM must listen to Parliament and the public, drop his self-imposed red lines and go for growth with a new customs union.

Last year saw a record amount of post-Brexit Irish passport applications in the UK last year, with almost a quarter of a million people living in the UK applying. It's clear that the public want freedom of movement - it's time for the Government to take action.

The UK's inflation is 3.6% and our interest rate is 4.0%

The EU isn't just about trade and regulations. More than anything, it's about our shared European heritage, our shared cultures, our diversity, our dreams. ... That's something the fascists will never understand.

This makes no sense.
1. Brexit is at least two things: Being out of the EU and being out of the Single Market.
2. Both of these can be reversed.
3. To blame a reversible problem for your harmful economic decisions, while still refusing to reverse that problem, is the behaviour of a fool.
