This allows Trump (via DOJ) to use taxpayer money to bribe eight GOP Senators. It's that simple, there's no other way to describe it.

And where's the compensation for people injured by the Trump admin's unlawful conduct through DHS & DOGE?

Take a bow, @schumer.senate.gov, you did this.

Hemp regulation is a genuine issue but overnight obliteration is ludicrously bad policy. Whole lot of hemp and hemp-associated businesses will go under, this criminalizes basically every delta-8/9 product with enough in it to have a psychoactive effect.

(Those 24 Senators voted the right way.)
The shutdown deal includes a ban on hemp products that none of its negotiators debated in public.

Disappointing that only 24 senators voted against killing an amendment to strike that ban.

Republicans constantly attack their Congressional leadership, and they remove leaders who fail to achieve the objectives desired by the base.

This 'infighting' hasn't been a 'distraction' or 'weakness' for them, it has produced victory after victory, including control of all three branches.
Oh yeah - never a convenient time to have some real talk about the dynamic that the Democrats in the Senate are led by bunch of chumps. Certainly not after they created the conditions for yet another base demoralizing surrender.
This kind of activity is just what you should want to see, if your are a Republican, eager to see the opposition distracted by self-destructive infighting.

I agree. I don't judge Kim Kardashian for failing the California bar. It's a tough one, and TBH the bar exam in general bears little relationship to the practice of law.

I do, however, judge her for her own statement that she relied on four psychics who told her she would pass the bar.
Everyone is dunking on Kim Kardashian. The truth is the California bar is notoriously hard, the pass rate was only 55%, the pass rate for people who didn‘t go to an accredited law school is way lower, and lots of very smart and dedicated people don’t pass the first time and become good lawyers.
