It's been a busy few weeks but it is frankly amazing that Ensembl and our regulation analysis systems are going to be part of an ambitious sLoLa. I am sure we will see ground breaking discoveries from this work
We’re helping to decode how gene enhancers control gene expression and impact disease progression – with funding from BBSRC & @ukri.org.

As part of the project, we will build a single-cell enhancer map starting with a few key genomic regions in zebrafish.

I am excited to announce that I will be speaking at the @Public Policy Projects Genomics Conference next week! The 4th Annual PPP Genomics conference will focus on how genomics research can be used as a driver of economic growth and how we can achieve this equitably in healthcare settings worldwide.

It's been amazing working with so many talented researchers, developers and curators to deliver this portal. A real landmark project and fascinating how to work with a new area of important and vital science
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing health threat, making infections harder to treat and complicating routine medical care.

EMBL-EBI’s new AMR portal brings together laboratory resistance data and bacterial genomes in one open platform.
