SCOTT TURNER: Well, Maria, you know, during the Biden administration, there were over 12m illegal aliens that came over the border, straining our housing supply

A reminder that seven years ago almost to the day, the CIA determined that Mohammed Bin Salman ordered the killing of @washingtonpost.com journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

I hired and worked with Jamal for a year.

Have no doubt. When this regime is over, there will be even more horrific abuses coming to light.

ICE is over. If you're in, get out now abd turn state's witness. You know what's right and wrong.
Most of us have no idea how bad it is inside ICE detention centers because they have kept it hidden. Then a truth teller shows up and says it plain.

The conditions are filthy. The treatment is inhumane. The abuse is Systematic and routine.

ICE employee among 16 men arrested in Bloomington sex trafficking sting, police say.
"When he was arrested, he said, 'I'm ICE, boys,'" Hodges said during a press conference Tuesday. "Well, unfortunately for him, we locked him up."

According to Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges, officers started the three-day sting on Nov. 5. They used several methods to find people who were attempting to solicit a 17-year-old girl for sex.

What if politics were the Dating Game? Or if there was an app that matched you to a political party, without the labels? I think about that sometimes, and now you can to :).

The (Political) Dating Game
The thing about trust is, once you break it, it's very hard to earn it back. The Republicans are about to learn the hard way.

I've been saying something similar, but it's more like:"I can't believe we have to fix this s%$& again!"

And it's pretty much daily...
I think Americans are realizing that democracy is a participation sport, and the the government is ours if we want it to be. I feel like we got complacent and hoped some other third party would do the work for us. Seems like we have to learn that lesson every generation.

Let’s be clear: The DOJ has already been subpoenaed. They’re legally obligated to release the full Epstein files—and they’re still dragging their feet.

It’s a shame we’ve even gotten to the point of needing a discharge petition.

Do you ever wonder about the limit of human innovation? The only limit is that of our imaginations. It won't be easy, but we can have the future we all deserve.

Believe it.

So? The incumbent GOP sheriff had contracted with ICE. His Dem challenger promised to end the contract.

Now he wants other swing-state Dems to look at his victory as a lesson:

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
