This is (well, once upon a time) an impeachable offense. And if the President were determined to have ordered it, it would be an impeachable offense against him as well. Illegally withholding allocated funding in order to exert political pressure.
The US Department of Agriculture suspends all federal funding to Minnesota, effective immediately.

It's is ONLY the Kennedy Center. And if any semblance of good governance is restored in our nation's capital, and his name is finally removed, the headline had better be:

“Years-long defacemant and vandalism finally removed”.

As it happens, I have experience with high-level government demands to stop an explosive, accurate story from running, and I also have experience with 60 Minutes spiking a story I was involved in, so I have thoughts about the travesty at CBS. If you want some journalism anecdotes, here are a lot:

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

It's a problem when leaders in a representative democracy believe their own press, especially when they were the source of their own press. There's already a fair amount of pride there to begin with (and not the good kind), so imagine when their line doesn't jibe with reality.
