We are so far beyond "show us your papers." They don't want to see the papers. We are now into the "give us the names" stage of the occupation.

I think the state law that lays out the text also requires it to be in every syllabus. Unsurprising that the #txlege puts itself in the classroom. Probably their kids got a C in some class, which of course was not their fault. We need to start sending them all papers that need to be graded.

And maybe it's just me, but I feel they reinforce the transactional nature of education, when we should be doing the opposite.

*sigh* The policies. They should really be a separate document, and everyone's syllabus can say “University/College policies will be followed, and may be found in [doc title & link].”
