Tonight Parliament failed disabled people.

🥀 Labour voted down my amendment to scrap unfair bus pass restrictions.

🌳 The Conservatives whipped their MPs to abstain.

🚌 This isn’t good enough. I won’t stop until disabled people get the fair, accessible transport they deserve.

Labour’s minister for the homeless is a private landlord who pushes out her tenants so she can hike up the rent.

You couldn’t make it up.

Trump spent 75 minutes on the phone with Putin. He praised him, talked about teaming up on Iran, but apparently never called on him to stop targeting innocent civilians.

What a disgraceful way to treat our allies and the brave people of Ukraine.

Manchester, Yorkshire & Birmingham getting new tram lines, Tyneside extending their Metro, and Liverpool City Region is getting… New buses!

A huge missed opportunity by Labour to build a station at Bramley Moore and get a rail link to Liverpool Airport!

Every time this happens, Liverpool City Council promises to learn the lessons, but they never do.

We’ve now had multiple people over the past 5 years awarded compensation after being abandoned to sleep on our streets while the council looks the other way.

I spoke to @liverpoolpost.bsky.social about my 2 year investigation into the unspent £Millions the council is sitting on from developers.

Liverpool council has sat on money for up to 18 years, while communities are left with run down parks & playgrounds.

Developers gave the council millions to improve Liverpool. Why haven't they spent it?
£17 million of compensation for local areas has accrued over the past two decades. Where is it?

The US just voted alongside Russia, Belarus and North Korea against a UN resolution to support Ukraine.

This is a wake-up call for all those cheerleading Trump in our country.

The PM is doing the right thing increasing defence spending - I have been callling on the govt to do this for years.

Cutting international aid is cutting soft power and piling up problems for the future as Putin and Xi fill the gap left by Britain.

Proud to stand alongside Ukraine this evening.

Putin’s Poodle in America may have turned his back on Ukraine, but that means Britain and the rest of Europe must stand even firmer to support them.

For three years, the brave Ukrainian people have heroically defended their country against Putin’s war machine.

Now, more than ever, we must stand firmly in support of our Ukrainian friends, resist Trump's stitch up with Putin and work with our European neighbours to defend freedom and democracy.

Here are a few pictures I took today on a short walk through Kensington (the ward represented by the leader of the council).

Doubling skip fees might look like an easy way for the council to make money, but it’s just a tax on people who do the right thing, instead of flytipping.

While Reform and the Conservatives are obsessed with fighting each other, we will continue to be the true opposition in this parliament.

We will always work to provide a responsible and constructive challenge to the government and to put forward solutions to the big problems facing our country.

This morning I joined up with a dozen volunteers from @PennyLnWombles for a litter pick.

23 bags were filled, making a huge difference to the area around Allerton Road & Mather Avenue.

A big Thank You to all the volunteers who go out day after day helping make L18 a better place to live.

I can’t help feeling that, if this was in Manchester, Andy Burnham would’ve made sure he was part of the negotiations.

£450M of much needed investment in Liverpool and high quality jobs lost, because Labour politicians locally & nationally are asleep at the wheel.

A year & a half after businesses were evicted by Liverpool City Council, residents are still waiting for new shops to open.

Why is the government happy to cosy up to China, but won't even look at a better customs deal with our closest neighbours in Europe?

Ministers say they’re looking everywhere for growth but are ignoring what is staring them in the face.

Very disappointed to hear that Colomendy will now close.

Let’s not kid ourselves. Donald Trump is a threat to peace and prosperity around the world.

The UK will not be able to depend on the US to be a reliable partner on security, defence or the economy.

How do we deal with Donald Trump? We need to do it from a position of strength.
