Had a friend text me and say, “Government is opening back up!”

My response was, “at what cost?”

Will my insurance skyrocket like I was told it will last week? Will federal workers get back pay? Or will Trump use the courts to fight that? Same goes for SNAP.

Folks are going to suffer still.

Cannot say enough good things about the inroads we have made here in my community and in rural PA. When your message is one of care and looking out for those you represent, the results speak for themselves.

EVEN in deep red rural PA.
Last week @runforsomething.net helped elect a socialist in Atlanta, a former Republican in rural PA & at least 122 others, (including 35 red to blue flips). We’ve been building the big tent - tight on values, flexible on policy, and most importantly, centered on community.

This one is particularly special. Andrew is a former Republican who left the party after January 6th - he's the parent of two kids, including one with disabilities & the Trump cuts to Medicaid & DOE directly hit his family. This was a long-shot race -- he WON! www.post-gazette.com/news/politic...

The time has come! Today is the day we get to vote in a change for Clarion Borough! When you go to cast your ballot today, ask yourself one question: Are we doing the most we can? Is it reaching its potential?

This has never been about me in this race; it has always been about US!

While the Federal Government is dealing with a 22-day shutdown, residents of Pennsylvania have been living in a state without a budget for 112 days and counting.

The State House has passed several budgets, the latest bipartisan, yet the Senate continues to sit on its hands.

Maine Governor Janet Mills (77) says she will only serve one term in the Senate if she is elected.

So while I appreciate making that clear ahead of time I beg to ask one simple question…WHY ARE YOU RUNNING?! You want the best for Mainers, but only for 6 years? C’mon. www.nbcnews.com/politics/202...

It is absolutely mortifying to see this administration consistently going after the most vulnerable in our communities. President Trump wants to make things go back to the states, well, state-level elections have never been more important.

I refuse to be silent on this.

The cart is not a mile ahead of the horse, it is actually 26 days ahead of the horse when open enrollment starts and people start getting their new premiums for 2026.
SHERMAN: Who will own the political impact if health insurance does go up 200 percent?

MIKE JOHNSON: That's putting the cart like a mile in front of the horse.

My passion for helping others has always been there, but when I discovered The West Wing, it lit a fire to make a difference, and since then, I like to think I have.

26 years ago today, the show debuted, and the world has not been the same since. 🔽

Absolutely horrific events today in Utah. A wife lost her husband, children lost their dad, and parents lost a son. Politics take a back seat but the violence in today’s political climate has to stop across the board.

It’s been four decades but if someone can do what’s seems to be the impossible in Texas it is Rep. Talarico.
I’m running for the U.S. Senate.

Billionaires have taken over Texas and taken over America — but together, we can take power back for working people.

As the weather changes, it is great to get into the final months of my campaign. Door knocking, events, and continuing to have real, honest conversations will never stop being the best part of this process.

Once this is done, the real work starts, and I am even more excited to get to that.

My family suffered the same exact situation as this Iowa mom, from the NICU stay to the Autism diagnosis.

Medicaid is not just a physical lifeline but an emotional one, a mental one. We need more people who just genuinely care for others like Zach running for public office at every level.
Joni Ernst just brushed off an Iowa mom concerned about her son's Medicaid coverage that – thanks to Joni's vote – is now at risk.

My county cannot afford to run buses all year. This Summer when the heat hit the triple digits I had to watch people walk to work from distances that varied from blocks to a mile or so.

Walking in that heat affects mental and physical well-being. This passing the state senate solves that issue.
Over one million Pennsylvanians in every one of our 67 counties is counting on the Senate to fund mass transit.

The House has passed my proposal four times already. It’s time to get it done.

On January 19, my family had over 30 items (a week's worth of groceries during a school year), and the cost was $170. Just last week, the same amount of groceries, over 30 items, was nearly $240.
