Nearby a week-long 24*7 funeral/wake was happening, with traditional music played at volume from loudspeakers, not 20m from where I tried to sleep. This family of neighbours were bemused by my trying to grasp it all.

The colour of this stonemason's block suggests the whole complex was once a much brighter off-white colour, before the seasons and fertile life brought it to the dark greys and greens we see now.
