See, I knew it. Gove hasn’t been seen or heard of for months, if not years. Then, Mike Graham gets sacked and Gove is back. Gove has been hiding inside Mike Graham all this time.

They must be passing it off as an assistance dog, because only assistance and guide dogs are allowed on Eurostar. Please could you ask them how they managed to pull that one off and let me know, so I can take our precious little lapdog (when he wants to be) with us? Please and thank you :-)

I forgot that you can now save posts, so I can’t recall who suggested complaining to the BBC about unfair treatment of Polanski. I did complain, and received this response (read it in alt text if it’s too small)

Certainly not the most recent one. This was the most recent one I could find, September 2025, but I’m sorry, it doesn’t show the result you hope for so you can do a Donald Trump on it if you like :-)

Also… why is the little Indy boy wearing a tartan made up of the flag of St George? Frank, you’ve been had :-)

(My Scottish partner is Smith and jokes that his tartan is made up of the letters WHS in orange)

This is the size of flag you need if you are a true patriot*.

This is what he is meant to look like. Not bad for almost 13, is he!

Chico is staying with neighbours whilst we are away and he just rolled in something so vile it took two of them to clean him whilst the third couldn’t help because he was gagging so hard.

I guess we will have to find new friends to look after him next time :-)

Stop posting populist rubbish like this, to an audience of Trump / Musk / Yaxley Lennon / Farage fans:

I’m in Cadiz. The weather is glorious. There is a half moon in the sky during bright daylight and I *still* can’t switch my phone off. What has become of me?
September 12, 2025 at 10:39 AM
Thank you. I don’t understand a word of this
September 3, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Fairly white, wouldn’t you admit?

Maybe there is a glitch somewhere because this is what I see on iPhone

Here, in settings, you can force yourself to have to enter alt text. It is very handy, since I always intend to use alt text and often forget. Now I also add little nuggets for those who read them, which aren’t strictly descriptions, which is fun sometimes!

Visiting the neighbour of my partner’s parents, a farm in an idyllic spot on the Scottish west coast, I asked the farmer whether she objected to the wind farm stretched the length of the hill just above her farm. She replied that her objections were tempered by the rent she received for the land!

There you go. And now I’m going to have to wash the hard drive of my phone in disinfectant

When visiting the neighbour of my partner’s mother, a retired farmer, I asked her whether she objected to the wind farm on the hills above her land she said that her objections were tempered by the rent she received from having the wind farm on her hillside!

This is a glass artwork of those hills.

This is hilarious. Are you absolutely sure you want Northern Ireland, because you can have it any time you want. You just have to say…

The EU adopted the already existing flag of the Council of Europe. Did they consider other options or were the ones you are sharing considered as the flag of the Council of Europe?

The other designs were terrible, and I get the current one was based on the Eurovision logo
