Unambiguously love the guy who works at the deli near my office. Last summer I told him I was going to the beach one weekend and he immediately responded with "shirt's off party time!" Today I didn't order a grilled cheese like usual and he seemed deeply upset. I think we're best friends.

When you take a step back, it’s genuinely stunning how far any of this is from anything Trump campaigned on. It aligns perfectly w Project 2025 of course, but in terms of Trump’s public rhetoric, this was totally absent.
Will be interesting to see how a state that shreds its own capacity to collect taxes can sustain global power status
