Sympathies to the family of Sheldon Lee and all who served with him. He embodied decency and integrity. MLA for 25 years.

News releases had Mr. Lee’s phone number at the bottom as the contact- not a communications person! One of a kind

Rush are great musicians & everything about them is designed against me. But I have great respect for baseball psycho Geddy Lee, who not only has one of the world's great private memorabilia collections - within it was a huge trove of Negro League stuff, which he gave to the Negro League Museum

Wasn’t familiar with Anika Nilles work until today. An inspired choice, a wicked female drummer to help pay homage to the late Neil Peart. Wonderful to see Geddy and Alex be happy and want to play again #RUSH
🚨BREAKING NEWS!!!! 🚨
Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have decided to dust off their instruments and bring back the #Rush tour machine with new drummer Anika Nilles for a 7 city, 12 date tour in 2026! www.rushisaband.com/blog/2025/10...

Have been privileged to see RUSH twice. Class acts, very philanthropic, self deprecating and among the world’s greats of all time. Have loved their music since the early 1980s. So wonderful to see Geddy and Alex play music again after a decade mourning the loss of Neil Peart.

Today, my brother John found this Grade 1 report card for our Dad in 1941-42. The ”old man” struggled in reading & didn’t have a scribbler for 3 weeks!

See the expectations to parents on ensuring kids don’t miss anytime - and to accept blame.

Curious how that message would go over today?

Mitch Marner & agent Darren Ferris are reviled for their me-first actions. Squeezed the Maple Leafs for every nickel. Would have endeared fans if 1) took a bit less $ for team salary cap 2) be less pouty & give more than cryptic answers & 3) show self-criticism for playoff failures. #accountability
"The pain that the Leafs Nation felt, we feel it as well. I mean, we were the ones living it in the moment. We were the ones that want to bring that [Stanley Cup] back and it didn't happen"

Mitch Marner on his 9 year tenure in Toronto.

This #FieldworkFriday, intern Sammy Landry-LeBlanc takes us out on the river at the Sunset Valley Nature Reserve in New Brunswick. She and conservation biologist Jacob Read use a canoe to check for disturbances on the nature reserve.

Today is the 30th “meetversary” of my first encounter with @helenehholland.bsky.social.

I was paying a bill on my lunch hour in the Regent Mall and saw Helene’s girlfriends who introduced us.

Happy meetversary dear from your biggest fan! Photo taken today by my sister-in-law Louise Hachey-Cormier.

Team Holland has a number of friends who have been afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis. One of them we spent time with last Saturday. The disease is cruel and life changing. 1 out out of every 400 Canadians suffer from MS.

Happy to support A&W’s partnership fundraiser today. My night to cook!

Happy #WorldRadioDay. Shout out to my friends who worked in the industry & those still dedicated to making people smile, provide news & information. Grateful for lasting friendships.

May God bless @KirtSpeaksALS . A courageous, brave and determined voice for patients living with ALS. Raised a lot of funds and awareness. Sympathies to his family and friends. Between NHL stints, Kirton played parts of 5 seasons in Fredericton & 2 in Moncton (NB Hawks) - total of 350 games.

Sympathies to the family of Tony Huntjens. Active in @pcnbca & CoR Party - he was longtime MLA in St. Stephen area. Got to meet him when clearing began for Route 1. Very patriotic. Proudly led O Canada in the Legislative Assembly & announcements. #nbpoli #cdnpoli

Fredericton broke a 80+year old temperature record Tuesday with a high of 35.7 degrees, topping one set in 1944. They have been keeping track since 1871. I’d gladly take a 10 degree day or 30 mm of rain to give everything a drink and fire crews a break.

Sad to read the passing of Riverbend Golf Club founder Rick MacFarlane. Sympathies to Charlotte, their family and the local golf community. Was a member at Riverbend during its opening year in 1992 when it was a 9-hole course. Family owned and operated throughout. Good people.

I have been a Twitter (X) User for 14+years. Despite a lot of great people still on it - the place has become a crazy town. In the past week, so many folks are hiking, constitutional, silviculture and forest fire experts. 95% of them are showing a total lack of empathy to our region’s fire concerns.

(1/2) There is a high probability that smoke from active wildfires will impact the air quality in certain regions of New Brunswick this week.

A heat alert is also in place, which can make the effects of smoke worse, especially for vulnerable people.

Two New Brunswick institutions side by each!

Nice morning walk in People’s Republic of Marysville! Lots of bikers, some walkers, a few dogs and this family of four deer that Charlie was curious about.

Congrats to my better half, CEO-+CFO on a professional milestone.

This week Helene marked 35 years with @govnb.bsky.social. Her offices have been well served with her efficiency & competence.
Says she started work at age of 5!

Rest in peace Hulk Hogan. The passing of the Hulkster hits home. Saturday Night Main Event was a staple in high school along with WWF cards in Moncton. I hope my childhood hero Killer Karl Krupp (RIP George Momberg) “applies the German Claw to your head Hulk Hogan & collects $5,000!”

Sorry to read the passing of longtime Fredericton CBC radio reporter and news reader Doug Milander. Very nice, collegial man - even to us competitors in private radio. Monitored many of his newscasts. Deepest condolences to his wife, longtime NB Finance Department communications pro Ann Deveau.

While in #YUL - spent time with a great man who set a high bar & standard for local news coverage in New Brunswick.

@garymacyul.bsky.social is still getting to the crux of things with his analysis on Night Talks in Montreal. Gary is a gifted storyteller with a fantastic sense of humour. #cdnmedia
