US accounts for about 10 per cent of global trade. Trump could cut that in half and the effect on the world as a whole would be manageable. Impact on US would be more severe, but that's their problem.

Coffee and crude oil are commodities. Trump's tariffs will redirect trade with little effect, at least until he imposes tariffs on Brazil as well. Maybe some impact on cut flowers, but there is a world market there too.
