There is no moral equivalence between bullies and the bullied, between tyranny and democracy, or between brutality and decency. No individual can be free in a society devoid of justice. There can be no liberty where brutality reigns.

This has always been the GOP's strategy:

1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves.

2) Explode the deficit.

3) Demand cuts to vital programs that help millions.

4) Repeat.

Don't let them get away with it.

The core argument here is unanswerable. For liberal democratic countries, buying American weapons is a security risk. It must be avoided at all costs.

If they act like cartoon villains, dress like cartoon villains and speak like cartoon villains... it's because they're cartoon fucking villains.
