Children successfully solved a challenging sorting task by spontaneously discovering efficient sorting strategies, such as selection sort and shaker sort. Older children outperformed younger ones, demonstrating developmental progress in strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Silvery gibbons (Hylobates moloch) are confined to 29 fragmented forests in western and central Java. All gibbons are known for their songs, mostly in duet; unlike other species, silvery gibbons are soloists. Populations are declining steadily due to habitat loss and human encroachment. Endangered.
