DIANE KEATON transformed American cinema with performances that redefined leading women on screen. From Annie Hall's Oscar-winning charm to The Godfather's quiet strength, she brought intelligence, vulnerability, and style to every role. A huge loss. #RIP

Great to have a fabulous journalism legend like @JennyCooney help teach young arts journalists at Monash University. Here’s Jenny’s reflection on Hollywood icon, Robert Redford, and the Sundance festival he founded in 1981. Jenny interviewed 'Bob' in person a few times during their amazing careers!
‘To my happy surprise, it grew beyond my imagination’: Robert Redford’s Sundance legacy
Robert Redford’s Sundance Institute and Sundance Film Festival provided support for independent filmmakers and transformed Hollywood in the process.

1,500 film industry workers signed a letter as "Venice for Palestine" to try to get Gal Gadot disinvited from the Venice Film Festival.

Gadot decided before the letter came out not to attend the festival. Still, it is ridiculous that such a letter was even sent.

Interesting to learn that Solutions Journalism is on the rise in China. By including a focus on solutions, it can allow Chinese journalists to focus on some topics that might normally be censored. #AEJMC25

Thanks to Nick Newling from the Sydney Morning Herald for interviewing me today in my capacity as a journalism scholar about the images of Gaza and how "bearing witness” is a critical role of photojournalism.
‘Innocent life matters’: The photographs of children that captured the world’s conscience
From Sudan to Vietnam and Gaza, images of suffering children have become totems of humanitarian catastrophes and prompted hard questions about photographic ethics.
