The problem are not juniors and/or interns. The problem is AI tools can't be trusted (yet) to produce safe and correct code, so what these tools produce needs to be carefully checked. AI can help them to move around a large code base, but it won't be enough to ensure the code is correct.

As an heavy AI tools user (mostly Claude Code) I can say this is not smart, imho. You need a senior to spot hallucinations and mistakes. Code needs to be working and correct not creative. The fact they are doing this, doesn't mean it's good.

Hold on... don't fret yourself.. I'm supporting Neovim but I'm quite far from learning how to use it yet 😜

No, I haven't received my ballot. I recently joined and opted it to vote. I was even asked if I wanted to vote in this year elections and said yes, but still didn't receive anything.

You are another in a long series of people I have seen cancelling this. I'm thinking about it too since the quality has degraded too much to justify the cost. Is the reason the same for you?
