Avoiding to open any news website, social networks and tv for the next 30 days “may” help to reach your goal 😔

I check it out regularly. Still too many bugs which makes the whole experience so bad. Let’s hope it gets better in the future.

does it use ripgrep if available?

The most annoying thing for me in Claude Code is typing /ex...<Tab> and having it completed as /extra-usage 🤬

exactly the same 🥲

oh ffs I just purchased a new LG tv 🤬
December 15, 2025 at 6:33 PM
what is it for?
December 14, 2025 at 12:36 PM
I recently purchase an LG "smart" TV and you know what? Apps are actually good, fast and the UI is snappy.

I think I will put my Firestick in a drawer and won't be so anxious about when the next Apple TV will be released 🤷🏻‍♂️

Does it happen here as well or on the other website formerly known as the bird site?

Same! I develop a couple of CLIs and when I want to do that I ask “release version x.y.z” which updates changelog, git tag, push which triggers the build and release to brew 🚀

"who take the time to learn how to effectively apply them" is the key 🥲

I had to disable sandbox in Claude Code. It was essentially the source of all my issues. A sandbox is useless if it doesn’t know how to work around it. Some tests were skipped simple because they had issues from inside it and were not retried without sandbox (thankfully CI catches these).

Is this platform still massively against AI or has it moved more towards acceptance?

I fell for it too. This gave me the opportunity to try FastMail and realise it wouldn't offer me anything more than GMail (on the other side: I would loose a lot of feature). I also can't get rid of Google account for many other reasons so I guess I'm sticking with it 🤷🏻‍♂️
since the "google is now training gemini on your email contents" thing keeps bumping around here: it's _not happening_. I say this not to defend google but because I know a lot of people that have broken their filtering and made their lives much more annoying from sheer misinformation.
The malwarebytes Google opting-your-emails-into-ai-training thing is not true. The post is based on one bad tweet.

I know anti-tech lamenting is a Bluesky core principle, but please use the same judgement you would for any other clickbait.

If you use OpenCode, in addition to your existing Claude and Copilot subscriptions, you can also use your OpenAI and Google ones:

Amusing: Google does not allow its devs to use its newly launched IDE, Antigravity, for development.

Classic example of “externalisation” at Google: they have an *internal* (increasingly different!) version of it, but they won’t use what they launched to everyone else
