Computers were a mistake.

German in Belgium, socialist, lapsed cyclist.

Boring. Predictable.

He/Him
He's a very good boy who waits for me to get the kids from school now

Some IoT thing I've acquired has an ESP32 on tbe board as its microcontroller and the very helpful engineers left a debug port right next to it. No pins though so I will either have to solder or cobble something together using jumper wires.

Need to start saying "I've got clothes older than some of you" on a regular basis, literally wearing a Darwinia tshirt that I've had since 2005 today.

Never ceases to amaze me that I can pay 10 USD for five PCBs like this including delivery and PCBWay still somehow make money on this.

Look at this thing, fucking crazy-ass mad max contraption that one can seemingly order from China. Robotic lawnmower with a petrol engine and TRACKS. Little lawn trimming tank.

Think I accomplished my mission of finding a nice wide hat for when I'm working in the garden.

Looking at the Ninja ice cream thing and had to do a double take when seeing this picture. Seems like they're doing the Joe Biden ice cream thing in their Amazon listing.

I'd love to get one of these one day and stick the drive train and batteries from a totalled e-tron or something in it.

Figured only two or three of my betta fry survived, poured the water I was keeping them in, into my shrimp tank since I had some shrimp in there to deal with leftover food and stuff.
Spotted an inch long fish in there today much, bigger than any of my other fries. Someone's been eating baby shrimp.

A week or two ago I thought it'd be a good idea to sort out my mess of plants, so while doing a water change into a storage tote, I threw the plants I wanted to organise into the water.

I've got at least one fish in there now.

Insert Jeff Goldblum.

Getting Discus in Poland is actually affordable, they sell them at 8-10 EUR per fish when they'd be 40+ around here for the same size.
They're pretty but I can't justify 40-100 EUR for a single fish.
