I'm the hand, not the bee. At least I think so. He/him

Mid 30s southerner, studied a lot and learned a little bit. Not afraid to admit I'm wrong, which happens a little too often.
Being a fan of the Grizz is like being cursed on a deeply personal level. It's not even a fun curse like most sports curses where the team has won once! Half way expecting Adam Silver to hammer us just to show he has a spine so he can cover up some more LA based cheating.
Our latest deep dive with Hunterbrook Media (@truth.bsky.social) is about one of the five richest owners in sports: Robert Pera, of the Grizzlies and Ubiquiti.

An NBA owner said, "No one knows where their sales come from."

The answer involves Russia's drone war in Ukraine: youtu.be/s6i4uffZvhc?...

I think Ja is on the decline of his career unfortunately. He had such an crazy amount of athleticism in the beginning of his career but injuries have been killer. He hasn't developed an outside shot to space the floor and his passing isn't good enough to be a true facilitator either.
Ja Morant's absence tonight ends his latest consecutive games streak at 4. Has not played more than six in a row since Feb-Mar of 2023.

Honestly, valid reaction to being in Nashville on a Sunday.
Grizz, the Memphis Grizzlies mascot, turning a child into a meat crayon.

Disappointing ending to a season that seemed to come up short, but mad respect to the players, coaches, and staff that stuck it out. Time for hope and optimism, we're one day closer to next season.
The Memphis postgame was filled with respect for their teammates and coaches who stayed and those who’ve left “because they did it the right way” — and lots of love and appreciation for the city and university community.

Nostalgia is a trap and it keeps you locked in a past that never really occurred and all that jazz, but this thing absolutely slapped and was my favorite thing as a kid.
Pizza Hut Sicilian (1994, 1998): A rectangular, thick-crust pizza, made with a hearty, spicy sauce and cut into 8 square slices. It had basil, oregano, and garlic baked into the crust, and covered in a sprinkling of "cheese-herb seasoning". Tested regionally, then rolled out nationally 4 years later

Following what is happening in Sudan, I think it's perfectly acceptable to feel a level of despair that is sickening. There isn't much that can be done from the average Americans position, but you can still try to raise awareness, to at least let people know something is happening.

I have no idea how good Memphis is, every week brings so much excitement and my heart constantly feels like I'm four cans of monster into an afternoon.

Probably reading Starship Troopers as a dipshit teenager, though that was completing the circle of watching the movie way too young and watching the TV show before school. The descriptions of the aliens was off putting to me even back then.
What’s the closest you ever got to a “Nazi phase”?

Mine was my “Nietzsche is great, besides, he hated Christians, not Jews” moment in college

Either that or my Nation of Islam/Malcolm X fascination. Either way, specifically anti-Nazi!

Gonna have a super hot take about the Maine news and say that Nazi tattoos are bad. I don't know if it's a media literacy thing or history thing, but we should know the meaning behind certain symbols when they were extremely prevalent in the last century.

That double play from Crawford was incredibly smooth, these playoffs have been cooking with awesome plays like that.

Double Norvell day inbound? 2 Norvell 2 Furious?
SOURCE: Colorado State has fired head coach Jay Norvell, @theathletic.com has learned.

Norvell went 18-26 in four seasons and the Rams are 2-5 this year, just lost to Hawaii.

He has the vibe of someone you meet and has stories from when Tunica was fun. (Powerful and good aura)

They will probably station them downtown and you will see tons of them around the Pyramid. No way they leave the 240 loop in my opinion.

Feels great to be a long time Clay Travis hater, he telegraphed this grifter turn any time he talked about Memphis.
You heard it here first???

Only speaking from personal experience, but that Memphis result seems way off. Maybe the vibes of Graceland are just that strong.

What happens tomorrow happens tomorrow, but today a dictator who abused his people fell and that is a good thing. There is no perfect revolution, but I hope and wish for the best for the Syrian people.
