focused on state and local news and politics. I repost as a filing method, which means - a lot.
Why ask this question in a way that suggests it is normal and legal for a president to go after political opponents?

We have both a Congress and a Supreme Court that is deeply skeptical of the administrative state, but unwilling to lift a finger to stop the weaponization of administrative systems to destroy the lives of immigrants.

If you are married to a US spouse, your temporary visa (usually for 3 months) will lapse before your case is processed. The government allowed you could stay in the US while awaiting case processing. Now the Trump admin is saying that is a visa overstay and arresting the spouses.

It’s impossibly boring. I can feel my brain rotting when I hear them talk. They aren’t even really talking, in the sense of communicating - it’s a verbal smokescreen to unconvincingly obscure the fact that they are simply going to do whatever they want, until someone stops them.

96% of what I raise goes DIRECTLY to the SPECIFIC candidates (or Dem party committees/etc) clearly indicated on the page itself.

The other 4% goes to cover ActBlue's credit card processing fees.

That's it. Anything you *choose* to tip either ActBlue or myself with *afterwards* is your call.

When Biden tried to form a Disinformation Governance Board in 2022, Magats lost their shit, calling the proposed board an unconstitutional "Ministry of Truth" and threatening to kill the members.

But when Trump does it, they applaud. These people ooze hypocrisy from every pore.

When a board of trustees gives policy making authority to the government, it has sacrificed instiutional autonomy. Boards need to recognize their fiduciary obligations go beyond financial sustainability.
