Same. I loved my job. I loved my financial freedom.
Relying on a state that is happy to see us go hungry and lose our rights to an acceptable standard of living, is a horrific alternative to work.

If I was able to work...
I'd still be in the job that gave me financial freedom, that I enjoyed, that I excelled at, that gave me all the accommodations and adjustments possible, that gave me a secure career.
I'd never have chosen to give that up.
