I looked at your feed and your suggestion of what people should say is what I always say when I call, unless I am calling to mention something I appreciate my elected official having done. But we’re not going to tone-police our way to victory here.

Here is a very real thing I learned from a long career in publishing. Rejection isn’t feedback and shouldn’t be treated as such. Good stuff doesn’t get published. Crap does. Vice versa. It’s capricious and chaotic.

The place where I do my weekly shop is on -3. It’s street level of the complex. Parking lots at -1 and -2. Level 0 is also street level but a different street. Building into the side of a super steep hill hits different.

For me it took me from anxiety and sleep disturbances to a full-blown panic disorder with flashbacks that took several years to wrestle under control. And it wasn’t therapy that did it. It was, thank God for them, a good psychiatrist and the right combo of meds.

And in some portion of people with PTSD, psychodynamic therapy can absolutely reactivate the trauma and eff up your brain and your life.

Used FAM to up my chances of getting pregnant when we were growing our family. Using it to not get pregnant seems, I don’t know, insane?
