“Trivia, of all things, is a ray of hope in our moment of national crisis. Somehow, it’s still an arena where ideological projects are completely ignored and the thing that matters — the only thing that matters — is the right answer,” writes Ken Jennings, the host of “Jeopardy!”

The Trump administration has removed the Holocaust remembrance page.

Never Again means not forgetting.

Attempting to erase this history is disgusting, even for Donald Trump.

Holocaust remembrance pages removed in Pentagon’s DEI purge - Jewish Telegraphic Agency
Stories of Holocaust survivors were caught in the anti-DEI net, as was an article about Jewish "Golden Girls" star Bea Arthur.

I worked construction to pay for school. On the job site, you did business with a handshake. You can tell a working person by the calluses on their hands.

Too many Americans don’t feel we see, hear, or understand them. Democrats need a “callus check” with the American people.

The US didn’t allow prescription drug ads on TV until the 1980s, and today only the US and New Zealand do. Pharma spends around $9B a year on TV, maybe $5B on cable. The 3 big cable news channels’ combined total ad revenue from all advertisers including pharma is around $2B. So they’d be in trouble.
Hesitant to say any such thing. But as someone who savaged RFK Jr. in my book Fantasyland and last summer in The Atlantic, if he’s confirmed & with Musk & the new FCC chair makes Trump make this happen contrary to the strong wishes of pharma & the ad-supported TV: 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻 www.nytimes.com/2024/12/23/h...
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Wants to Ban Drug Ads on TV. It Wouldn’t Be Easy.
Attempts to restrict pharmaceutical advertisements have failed many times over the years, often on First Amendment grounds.

Do you know how much CEO pay has skyrocketed since 1978?

100%? 500%?

Try 1,085%

Meanwhile, the $7.25/hr fed. minimum wage hasn't budged in 15 years and the tipped min. wage has been $2.13/hr since 1991.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.
CEO Pay Has Risen 1,085% Since 1978, But for Workers? Just 24% | Common Dreams
CEOs at top US companies saw their pay skyrocket by 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay only increased by 24%
