Sharing this meme from James Ojascastro in response to the news that Duke University has decided to end support for the Duke Herbarium which has been in existence since 1921 and is the second-largest herbarium of all U.S. private universities (second only to Harvard). 🏛️

Self-uncertainty should increase identification with your ingroup (Hogg, 2007, 2021). However, this new thesis by Olivia Kuljian found the reverse, possibly because the uncertainty was generated *by* the ingroup.

Peaceful trip to the Boise Art Museum today. Paused to do some writing in between galleries. Fascinating to compare notes with my husband afterwards. We have two completely different experiences with art and especially in museums. I cast aspersions and he ponders greatness and leaves inspired.
