Before we discovered the dryer was kaput, we put up two more window perches but no one has deigned to sit in them yet. And I do believe Leopold & Padma _are_ friends. They’re clearly annoyed I interrupted their hang out:

Come to momma…Not quite the least expensive bc those washers wouldn’t hold a queen size blanket, but close to. Cross your fingers that the dryer dries for the time and temp I tell it too. I do not want it to think for itself.

Ngl, if it were dead, I wouldn’t mind having to buy new. Even when this set works it’s a gigantic pain in the ass. Literally and figuratively.

I wd really love it if for just a little while my face would not turn red like it’s trying to be an illustration of the maxillary sinuses. But no, this is just the default way my 🤬 face looks all the goddamn time. So much heat is coming off my face, I’ve had to put my hair back even tho it’s chilly

So this is a new variant on spam. It showed those those two sentences _while it was still ringing_. The supposed caller did leave a message…which consisted of the same two sentences. So is there usually a delay on phone calls? Or is the whole thing automated w/those two sentences pre-recorded?

Oh and. I scared myself a few weeks ago when I was in the bathroom w/o glasses on and couldn’t quite see this image of Dr. Bronner on the inside of the bottle. But looking at it w/my glasses on (I had turned it so I couldn’t see the image until today when cleaning) makes it _more_ sinister. Yikes.

It’s weirdly pale compared to the bloom stalks when it was still warm enough for outside, but the bloom is also still coming, so. A few more days I think? A mid-November bloom on an orchid cactus is still gonna be cool (assuming no problems)

The real problem with adhesive allergies is that your choice in hypo allergenic bandages is either “too big but ready to use” or “a little too much blood for cutting to size”.
TBH I’m surprised it took this long for me to cut myself w/the utility knife. And yes, I cut towards my finger like a dork

Leopold is 10.27! The most he’s weighed since we started weighing him weekly in April 2024 when he was 8.8. It’s also the 6ths straight week over 10lbs! He’s still thin, but the Mirataz is key. Idk. Maybe we can get him to 10.5. 🤞

Not sure I believe this forecast. I mean, the app also tells me it’s drizzling rn and will be for another 40 minutes, but if it pans out M-T are going to be soup/stew/baking days.
