The gender pay gap is real, with women in the EU earning on average 12% less per hour than men.

Today's EU Equal Pay Day marks the date when working women in the EU, on average, stop earning for the year compared to men.

Bin eigentlich großer Fan von Weihnachtsmarken der Deutsche Post, aber da dieses Jahr das Motiv mit KI geschaffen wurde (angeblich musste das dann von einem Grafiker nachbearbeitet und Fehler retuschiert werden 🤦🏼‍♀️), habe ich die Eichhörnchen von vor 2 Jahren wieder bestellt... und Bernd das Brot, ha!

Wir deutschen Steuerzahler:innen sollen mit unserem Geld immer schön die Scheiße bezahlen, die Leute wie Spahn etc. verzapfen (Maskendeals, Maut, you name it), das abnicken und sonst Schnauze halten. Jetzt verhält sich ein CDU-Politiker wie ein Mensch, DEN sollen wir jetzt aber problematisch finden.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

This morning we woke to the extraordinary news that our bank accidentally duplicated several of our payments that were scheduled to be paid – ‘we’re sorry for any inconvenience.’ As you no doubt know, small presses, like many small businesses, are run on a knife edge, and as our print reps will attest, every transaction is a haggle, a struggle to ensure survival. To be clear, this will not kill us off, but we do need to quickly find around £1,000 to pay our next print bills on time. It’s a hard time for so many, we know, and we do not ask this lightly, but if you’re planning on buying books for Christmas presents, it would make the world of difference if you headed to our site today and bought a book. 🧡
