At my local grocery store they have a couple of those novelty carts that look like cop cars for toddlers to ride in and the store recently had them changed to look like racecars with dogs driving them and I think that's at least some proof that society is moving in the right direction.

As Mario Savio said: "When the machine becomes so odious that you can't even passively take part, you've got to put your body up on the gears and you've got to make it stop. You've got to indicate to the people who run it that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all."
Checked out some footage from Akron today. Glad so many people were able to make it out, but disappointed in Akron's continued obsession with not "inconveniencing" people. Protests won't do anything until people get off the fucking sidewalk. Block traffic. Halt business. Be unignorable.
