I'm not even a K-Pop fan, but I adored KPop Demon Hunters - the perfect balm at the tail end of a gnarly chest infection. The animation is some of the most beautiful and kinetic I've ever seen, and it's pure bubblegum delight from beginning to end. It was also very, very Reylo (positive).

Nothing says 'I contain multitudes' quite like a chaotic Letterboxd top four. Am particularly proud of this one (my top four is constantly rotating based on recent watches).

I'm so excited about Nolan going all-in with the Greek gods in his version of The Odyssey. Way too many recent films based on ancient mythology have tried to bury the fantastical elements - a fool's errand when they're woven into their core DNA.

A proposition: KPop Demon Hunters is the Star Wars sequel trilogy if Rey had actually had meaningful female friendships to fall back on. And what a difference it makes when you have that emotional safety net in place!

The demonization of the "filler episode" is what is making modern media fall flat. "What does this contribute to the plot?" It contributes character building and fun, what do YOU contribute? (Annoying white noise)
