I can see his point, but it’s only in looking at it from an English paper “define the hero’s tragic flaw” kind of way. And like all those papers, hubris is the one you could make a good case for. I think his living to 100, having a Nobel prize, and his death was more about his flaws, you could do it

My dad flags as positive for TB because of exposure to bovine TB from unpasteurized milk as a kid in England. His godfather got a really horrible infection from it, I think in his spine? And lost at least one toe. That’s going to be a fun one to come back.

A friend of mine’s husband died of glioblastoma before the ACA. He was about 25, uninsured, they were in AZ, and they were barely able to get him on Medicaid. She had to recertify every month that his terminal cancer was still terminal. He died over 10 years ago, her ptsd is as much from how much

I was working on a series about costumes in classic movies, but the production company also did early aughts late night HBO stuff, and was doing a history of porn for a UK outlet and a documentary about rent boys. The company does Drag Race and there’s reasons I’ve never watched it.
