Public health, reproductive justice, big nerd about tv as health education. Fighting depression and anxiety with cats, bunnies, and raccoons. And being clever never got me very far. she/her
Oh what sweeties!! My cat Badger was raised by my bunnies Lindy and Beatrix when he was a kitten. He’d curl up with Bea when she didn’t feel well. But the rabbits I had after them weren’t friends with him, until Winston. Winston insisted they were friends, and took care of Badger until the end.

His face just kills me. I start babbling about how handsome he is. He’s very polite and deferential to the other cats, not submissive though. Fred is being a jerk atm, but Fuzzy is dealing not by fighting but by staying out of his way. He’s only the second cat, ever, that Boo likes.

Isn’t he? Such a handsome man. He’s good friends with the cats, Fred was friends with my last rabbit, and very sad when he died, and he greeted Oliver when I brought him home and they hang out and vibe.

Ack, sorry! Here he is licking Teddy’s head. His whole back is matted, but can’t fix that until he lets me brush him. Or more likely, until we find a sedative he’ll eat in food so I can shave it off. Poor little bear, no clue why it matted, he didn’t have any mats when I took him in.

I have a rabbit, Oliver, and go get him a big handful of nice hay every night. And then I hand feed pieces of hay to my cat Teddy on the kitchen table. Nick and Boo eat Oliver’s hay straight out of his hay box. He’s a very polite rabbit.

Goddammit these kittens are tempting. Look at these perfect babies. (I do not need more cats, I just really miss having a fluffy Siamese and the lynx points look fluffy, the tabby and white has a home).

Describe your cat's personality with one photo

He doesn’t look like it in this photo, but our cat Fred is a rescue pit bull in the body of a cat. He likes having his belly scratched, he guards my dad in the bathtub and smacks him if he falls asleep, and if dad goes to bed early or otherwise changes his routine, Fred gets very worried.

My Boo may have been fluffier as a kitten than Boo Boo, but she was definitely this cute. And has remained adorable. Whoever adopts Boo Boo is going to have the best time.

I’ve had a couple of the best sandwiches of my life at Rock City Coffee in Rockland, Maine. This is their BLT made with fried green tomatoes and goat cheese instead of mayo. Also had a phenomenal grilled cheese there. I’d never throw it at anyone because that place is my Danny Street, my Tiffany’s.

Fuzzy blanket on the part of the bed you want them to sleep on. They’re magnets for cats. I sent my godmother one to encourage the cats to snuggle with her because I was too far to hug her, and it worked. Nubbin has claimed the beige one on my bed. Boo claimed the pink one.

Teddy has an amazing ability to get other cats to lick his head. I’ve watched Nubbin lick him while looking pissed off to be doing it, such is his power. But this is the first time I’ve seen Fuzzy lick him. I think snuggle baths are in Teddy’s future.

Teddy said his wearing the shark costume so I could squee at his perfect Mofusand cuteness is my Christmas present. Even grumpy, he was adorable. Merry Christmas!

I got the cats a shark costume so they could dress up as mofusand, but it looks more like a Smurf hat.

Nick says happy birthday!

She’s just so happy.

This is how Fuzzy and I play every night. If you watch his belly, you can see it spasm from hiccups. You can’t hear him purring at the end, but he was. Big soft bear.

🤞they confirm good news.

All but one of our 7 cats came from our backyard. Most were dumped out by former owners. Two our vet told us wouldn’t be happy indoors. Fred, short hair, is now head cat, and Fuzzybutt has been indoors over six months and thinks it’s awesome and loves having friends and people might be ok, maybe.

I’m very good at giving pets meds, but I can’t pick up an injured raccoon and squirt them in his mouth. So I’m trying to find something to mix it with he’ll eat. Good project, but hard. And we won’t be taking in the cat, but he needs socializing so we can get someone else to. Sweet guy.

The biscuit factory is on hold while the catnip turtle gets thoroughly licked.

So raccoons really like peanut butter. More than dog food. The horde descended on Little Buddy’s dosed spoonful yesterday so he didn’t get it. I put down more for them away from him, and added dog food to his because he wasn’t into just peanut butter. Dog food and peanut butter though, yes.

Every day is Boo Day, but especially so on National Black Cat Day. I don’t know how I’d have gotten through the past almost twelve years without her. She’s got a bit of dementia and has forgotten any understanding of no she had, but she’s just become an even more endearing brat. Pure fluffy love.

She looks like my Boo, aka my fluffy Xanax. Fluffy black cats are so great.
