Dabbler in many small arts, veterinary tech, opinionated, striving to get better at compassion. It's a journey.
This is one of those easy-to-drive-right-past if you don't know it's there places. A gobsmacking pocket paradise of water jumping over New England boulders.

You could * the word "programmers" and sub in the name of any job (skilled trade or profession). Experience avoids wasted time. ((You bet I'm salty about this new redefinition of "profession."))

Limited character count makes replies hard, sorry I was unclear. I agree with Ariella re needing to watch other sources than "the news" - I *also* think that being forced to learn MORE re how Congress works instead of "trusting the news" will make us more discerning of being fed BS

Here's a wild opinion: now that some of us are learning more about Senate procedure, that genie won't go back in the bottle and we will continue to hold our Senators (and Reps) accountable *in detail* instead of being brushed off. "Ma'am, I know that's not how it works - explain yourself."

I can *feel* the sunny window

Lots of cats prefer this style of collar over a cone. It could be that it interferes less with their whiskers, which are an important sensory system for them.

Whatever the rules are, give them teeth, give them defined repercussions. Removal from office. Discontinuation of pay and govt funded health care. Pick something, and make it stick.

Thank you! The ones I have looked at so far are fantastic. Also, the utter lack of plant life that we take for granted on Earth drives home the alien-ness of the terrain. Not sure why that feels more spooky in 3D.

I love 3D stereo views and have practiced looking at them until I can do it without a "stereoscope." Thank you for these images.

For some reason I am especially touched that you talked to the bees.

This is another one of those where you can *almost* stand in the waterfall (but don't; be safe, not silly) and certainly can wrap yourself in the sound. Love it.

Your style here is a nice homage to Tolkein's original drawings, echoing without copying. Lovely.

I voted yesterday. Husband voted the day before. We're in a tiny town with only municipal races, but I love early voting.

And now I have fallen into your Google rabbit hole and learned something utterly new to me.

People should remember Simon Wiesenthal. It is possible to uncover and prosecute criminal behavior for decades after the vile deed. (Some things have LONG statutes of limitations)

This aligns with my observation that if the Establishment endorses a progressive candidate, there are those who immediately and loudly sour on that candidate, even tho previously screaming re the lack of endorsement. Maybe they are just bot trolls.

It's delightfully annoying that Vermont just *looks like this* - and often the photo doesn't do it justice. You drive around a bend in a road or come over a hill and *whammo* - gobsmacked.

So I blocked them. I don't have time or emotional bandwidth to argue.
October 7, 2025 at 7:51 PM
Ah. I might be picking up your block of them - apparently they are still seeing and replying to me.
