2/26 Shonda Rhimes is another author much more famous for her other job – in this case, creating & producing too many hit tv shows to list – but her book, “Year of Yes,” is a favorite. Another where I recommend the audiobook as it includes recordings of some of her speeches.

2/24 Renée Watson is the author of picture, middle grade, and YA books. I loved her Newberry Honor book, “Piecing Me Together,” about Jade, a high school collage artist. Jade has a powerful and thought-provoking voice.
