I recently switched providers and accessed my records thru their new portal and found that when I went to urgent care a couple of years ago, a pregnancy test was performed. I’m 62, live in a red state, and I’m fucking furious.

I fear that med studies will make their homes in other counties that value people, treat education and healthcare as essential to a functioning society and don’t treat government the same as a business ie bankrupt it and run it into the ground…

We will likely leave Idaho for Oregon in the next year or two. I know lots of doctors who have already fled, and the rest probably will now that doctors are allowed to deny people care if they have “deeply held beliefs.”

In the first Trump administration, lots of people talked about moving but few did. Now they *are*. My oldest friend is moving to the UK. A married couple who are friends have taken their non-binary kid & fled Texas. Another friend is moving to Colorado next month. I’m moving to CA in September.

1.000? Ojalá. Hablamos que en USA hay una media anual de 500.000 casos en los que las aseguradoras se niegan a pagar servicios que tienen contratado por pólizas sus clientes. Y la mayoría no los llevan a juicio porque no pueden pagar ni el médico, ni los abogados. Es acojonante.

Igual esto lo escribo ahora tranquilo o quizá lo escribo dentro de 20 años en una situación donde no pueda pagar los medicamentos o tratamientos de mi familia, la cosa es que no tengo pena ninguna y la sanidad no existe manera ética de justificarla como negocio, pagas lo que vale tu vida, fin.
