A Southern Railway locomotive at #Dingwall during #WWII. Due to the pressure on railways, engines and rolling stock sometimes ended up far from their usual areas and from 1941 to 1944, this one worked predominantly on the #Strathpeffer branch line

The famous prize-winning red bull, Albannach, in 1909 after he was purchased at a sale organised by the Highland Cattle Society in Oban by William Dalziel Mackenzie of Farr, Daviot. Mackenzie was the owner of a herd of pedigree Highland cattle.

The teacher and pupils of Borgie Side School, Sutherland, in 1937. The school had opened in October 1935. 

Standing on the right of the middle row is Geordie Mackenzie who was born in Evanton but moved to Sutherland where his father, Alec, was a forestry worker.
