Yay it's a work-from-home writing day so I am wearing THE CLOCKIEST DRESS I HAVE. It'll be a long time (if ever) - at least a year or two more HRT and a couple of surgeries - before I'll wear this in public, but damned if I can't enjoy it at home :-D

I didn't get the chance to livebleet all of Ward Peeters' presentation at the Forum on Englishes in Australia last week, but I have the slides and notes and so maybe I should.
One of the biggest issues with the synthetic text extruding machines is that we have well-formed linguistic output with no accountability. Solution: OpenAI should be accountable for everything that comes out of ChatGPT, period. (And likewise for Google with Gemini, etc.)
